Buying With Intention: The New Era of Luxury
Let’s face it, life moves QUICK. In a world that moves fast (trends, drops, constant “must-haves” ) intentional buying has become the root of my purpose and the new definition of luxury to me. It’s not about owning everything; it’s about choosing the right things. Pieces that elevate your style, fit your lifestyle, and make you feel great every time you reach for them.
For me, buying with intention means asking myself: Does this add value? Does it fit my wardrobe vision? Will I still love this a year from now? Is there real quality or is it a pig with lipstick on? When the answer is yes, that’s when the magic happens. That’s when a purchase feels like an investment (and this doesn’t mean cashing in a few years from now, it means you can use it 10 years down the line and still look chic, it means you can pass it down to your niece, daughter, son, etc).
Intentional luxury doesn’t mean restricting yourself. It means curating with purpose. You can love designer pieces and still appreciate an under-$50 Amazon find. You can splurge on a handbag and save on a scarf. It’s the balance, the thoughtfulness, the awareness of what truly fits your personal version of luxury.
When you buy with intention, you stop chasing and start choosing. You build a collection, not a pile. You define your style, not the other way around.
This is the heart of The Luxy Drip and why I started it. Each of my big ticketed items is a curated choice and a piece that tells a story.
